History

Company’s history dates back to 1975 when Huta Katowice established a Repair Unit which was in charge of prefabrication and regeneration of spares for the needs of the mother plant. Further restructuring process led to establishment of separate entities (years: 1997 - 2000) which were providing services for both the mother plant and for the external market.

ArcelorMittal Service Group Sp. z o.o. was established  after the reorganization and restructuring of the entities in charge of maintenance, prefabrication of spares and repairs operating in the years  2000 - 2006 in PHS group (Polskie Huty Stali) and later in ArcelorMittal in Poland.

In the years 2006 - 2012 ArcelorMittal Service Group Sp. z o.o. was undergoing further restructuring to become what it is now - an entity specializing in prefabrication and regeneration of spares for the steel making industry.

ArcelorMittal Service Group Sp. z o.o. currently employs 341 people. The company operates in the production bays of 40 000 m2, owns a modern machine park including over 100 different machining machines.
